can you install and older version of internet explorer on windows 7, i have a program that requires and older version of internet explorer. currently my windows 7 came installed with internet explorer version 9, bu i need to install version 6.

i tried to uninstall ie9 but it doesnt really uninstalls it, it only disables it in windows components.

if anyone knows how to completely remove internet explorer from windows 7 please show me
